Winter Blues

February has always been the worst time of the year. Everything is a pile of dirty mush and the gray days seem to drag on forever. Spring seems so close, yet so very far away. That's what depresses you most of all.

And then, between the stress and uncertainty of life, a never ending to-do list and a bad case of the winter blues... it snows. Fat, fluffy flakes that transform the landscape into a sparkly snow globe. Everything is a wash of white and you pause as you're reminded of how beautiful this world can be, and how wonderful your life really is.

It's funny how much climate affects our everyday. I miss winter when I don't get to experience it, but I'm sure a week in the snow would be more than enough for me.

I think whichever season lasts the longest can cause some type of blues. I'm already anticipating 'summer blues' or the "why is it still 80ยบ on Christmas day?" blues.

I kid you not, I have been feeling THE EXACT SAME WAY. so blah one minute and then it'll start snowing and suddenly i'm transported into a wonderland and so happy and thankful for my life. winter is so fickle that way! or maybe i'm the one who is fickle...
